I looked at bodybuilding magazines like every other young kid and wanted to become a bodybuilder before I even knew anything about the sport. At the age of 15, I started training at home with the old plastic sand weights. It took me about 6 months to grow out of those weights. At that same time, my closest friend Nate Hoppe convinced me to go to the local gym called The Outback. I stayed at that gym for 7 years. At the age of 22, I moved away from my home town and started training at the Brighton Power house where I train to this day.
